| Paul K.
Lavelle was born in New Orleans, Louisiana
in 1966 and is a graduate of the University
of Montevallo and the University of Alabama,
with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political
Science. He then attended Cumberland School
of Law at Samford University where, in 1992,
he obtained his juris doctor and was
admitted to the Alabama State Bar and,
subsequently, the Tennessee State Bar in
2007. He is licensed to practice in the
United States Court of Appeals for the 11th
Circuit, the United States District Courts
for the Northern, Middle, and Southern
Districts of Alabama and the United States
Courts for the eastern and Middle Districts
of Tennessee. Paul is proud to be a member
of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section
of the Alabama State and Tennessee State
Bars, the Business Section of the American
Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy
Institute, the Commercial Law League of
America, the National Association of Retail
Collection Attorneys, and the Bankruptcy and
Commercial Sections of the Birmingham Bar
Association. Since 1992, his law practice
has been devoted to the representation of
creditors in Federal and State Courts. Paul
is acutely aware of the challenges which
creditors face on a daily basis. Based upon
those challenges, Paul has uniquely
structured his law practice to prosecute
each matter in the most efficient and
effective manner to achieve the client’s
desired goals. Paul is the head of the
firm’s collections department, and also a
member of the firm’s bankruptcy and
creditor’s rights department. |
