Peek was born in Florence, Alabama in 1971.
Christy received a BA in English from
Vanderbilt University and her law degree
from the University of Alabama Law School in
1996. Later that year, she was admitted to
the Alabama State Bar. Christy is licensed
to practice before all State Courts an the
United States District Courts for the
Northern District of Alabama. is a member of
the Birmingham Bar Association and American
Bar Association. Christy works in the
litigation section at Yearout, Spina &
Lavelle and has experience in several
litigation areas: commercial litigation;
transportation law; blasting litigation;
products liability; wrongful death actions;
personal injury actions; environmental law;
and experience in various other areas of the
