| Jason R. Smith
was born in Decatur, Alabama. He completed
his undergraduate education at the
University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa with a
Bachelor’s of Science in Commerce and
Business Administration in 1996. Jay
received his Juris Doctor from Cumberland
School of Law in June of 2003 and was
admitted to the Alabama State Bar. He is
licensed to practice before all state courts
and the United States District Courts for
the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts
of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama
State Bar, the American Bar Association and
the Birmingham Bar Association. Jay works in
the firm’s litigation section and has
experience in several litigation areas:
transportation law; products liability;
wrongful death actions; personal injury
actions; construction defect law; uninsured
motorist law; environmental law; municipal
law; and various other areas. |
