| Paul J. Spina,
III was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963
and is a graduate of Auburn University and
Cumberland School of Law at Samford
University in 1988. He was admitted to the
Alabama State Bar later that year and,
subsequently, the Tennessee State Bar in
2007. Paul is licensed to practice before
all Alabama and Tennessee State Courts, the
United States District Courts for the
Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of
Alabama, and the Eastern and Middle
Districts of Tennessee as well as United
States Court of Appeals for the Seventh
Circuit. Paul is a member of the Bankruptcy
and Commercial Law Section of the Alabama
State Bar, the Creditor’s Rights Section of
the Tennessee State Bar, the Bankruptcy and
Commercial Law Section of the Birmingham Bar
Association, the American Bankruptcy
Institute, the Alabama Banker’s Association
and the Community Banker’s Association of
Alabama. He has worked exclusively in the
representation of creditor rights in
bankruptcy and state courts throughout
Alabama since 1988. Paul adopts the
philosophy of his clients in the prosecution
of his cases by maintaining the most
aggressive stance possible to protect the
client’s interest. With the volatility of
today’s economy leading toward record level
bankruptcy filings, Paul has become
extensively involved in all aspects of
bankruptcy litigation, including adequate
protection and automatic stay litigation,
adversary proceedings, lien challenges,
confirmation hearings, evaluations and
dischargeability objections. |
